Advanced default values for fields

KAF will allow you to define settings by default for any of the fields in the forms.
The values can be a simple constant value or fields based in user properties:
user[Department][Manager][mail]
On this example, the default value would be the manager's email of the user's department editing the form.
powerful, isn't it?

Form layout design

KAF allows you to completely modify the design of its forms. From the field's order and its layout to the position of the label.
We can also define for each field if it can be edited or visible by the user based on a set of rules and conditions.

Multiple definition for a same form

The forms definition system based on rules, will allow us to have multiple behaviours at disposal according to the defined conditions.
Kaldeera Advanced Forms allows to define the conditions based on:

  • Any element's field
  • The user accessing
  • Any user's property (user[Department])
  • Page parameters
  • Security groups membership
  • Lists related to the element or user
(item[Created][Manager] - the manager of the user who created the element!)

KAF supports the configuration of customised views for the forms New (new elements), Display (view elements) and Edit (edit elements).
